Additional Information On Granite

 Granite is a light-colored igneous rock with grains large enough to be visible with the unaided eye. It forms from the slow crystallization of magma below Earth's surface.  Granite is a composite, made of feldspar and quartz, with a hardness of 6 and 7 respectively. This makes granite a fairly tough material!  Granite is used in buildings, bridges, paving, monuments, and many other exterior projects. Indoors, polished granite slabs and tiles are used in countertops, tile floors, stair treads and many other design elements. Granite is a prestige material, used in projects to produce impressions of elegance and quality. There is a variety of granite's ranging from Level 1 to exotics!

Maintenance

  • Granite Needs to be sealed At least ONCE a year depending on your selection, Ask Sales rep. What sealer will best work for your counter tops!
  • Never use  Windex; acidic cleaners, like vinegar, lemon, lime; or anything with ammonia orbleach should be avoided. Frequent use of these chemicals will dull and weaken the sealant over time. 
  • If any spills Soda,Oils etc. occur on your counter don't panic, just clean  with in few min.
